it was Eagles and their 2nd Recruit's Evening. MDC came over to perform for School 1.
Falcon, Cougar, Gryphon and Hawk were there as well.
blah blah blah, performance after performance.... and i was half naked on stage with my LBV jacket tryna look like a gangster rapper...
and when the day was about to end, i was walking around and looking at the ground. that's what i found in a random goodie bag lying around.

the previous Recruit's Evening, i found The Rolling Stones' album on the floor in a goodie bag.
tsk tsk. i cant say i'm lucky cos i am so not a fan of rock.

i missed it twice.
once while i was serving confinement,
next when i was on attend c.
but tomorrow would be the day.
i am finally gonna go for the SAF Music Drama Company auditions at Nee Soon Camp.
well, many of my commanders tried to discourage me.
with a simple reason..
"ey adam, i dont think you can go MDC even though you can dance well. i am recommending you to Command School. OCS or SISPEC? if not i send you to Guards."
and i replied with, " 'geant, at least send me to Medics. don't be cruel"
well basically, the reason i got that possible recommendation is...
Recruit Adam is Platoon Best.
What does that mean? It's like getting first in class.
It's like being the dopest in the platoon. and usually the Company Best, Platoon Best and Best PT get in to Command School like 80% of the time and that is what that's troubling me.
i dont wanna go on outfields.
21 days field camp in Brunei?

and the applause came roaring. and i remember falling flat to the ground cos' hali pounced on me to show some love.

the best part?
the rest get 2 tickets for POP parade on the 10th while i get 4.
so my parents get to sit at the VIP section, my sis at the commoners and the extra ticket sold for 10 dollars to a needy soul.

and i got into massive trouble again.

and half his front tooth chipped off.
broken. on the floor.
the tekong dentist glued it on already though.
faz was sayin', "WHOA. you can tell others. 'I threw stones and broke a guy's tooth. and i'm still the Platoon Best. I drew on the walls and i'm STILL the Platoon Best"
