know what, for 3 years, i never wanted to blog about this artist.
citing personal reasons. but its a new year. so why not?
Aijuswanaseing (i just wanna sing)
i didnt give a second hearing when i first heard of this fella.
i mean, this shabby looking dude is so not begging for the well deserved attention.
but on second listen, hmmm
and then there was this. Juslisen (Just Listen)
His track,Halfcrazy, got my listen well enough.
i realised this fella is a soul artist whose style blends contemporary R&B, soul, funk, alternative, blues, jazz and hip hop. (quoted from wiki. hah)
the point is. he came back with a new album, onmyradio.
but erm, his first track, Radio, is heavily influenced by trashy hip-hop.
but oh well. its an attention seeking track.
other tracks are ok. and its on mild rotation on my iPod.
his next single Ifuleave (if you leave) is worth a listen
