screw loose

here's a post for those who still wonder what i do...

i totally enjoy doing my job.
waiting at the staging area early morning.
deliverymen and merchandisers coming up to me.
hoping that i will accept all their goods peacefully with no fuss.

hoping for me to sign and give the company stamp of approval.
but hell no, Hasbro came with truckloads of stuff. dang.


TASK
-im armed with my "receiving" file, filled with a black pen, pen knife, calculator, long ruler, company stamp, stapler. yeah.
-upon deliverman's arrival, they'll pass me the DO and i'll check the PO number. (document order/purchase order)
-make sure the PO matches the Hong Kong generated DO.
-check outlet and date. tsk.
-use the palmtop and scan the goods. deliveryman to count infront of me.
-reject those with unscannable barcode/damaged packaging

-check MFR number. write down SKN number.
-merchandiser to put items to the 'floor'
-stamp on the DO and the carbon copies below the original.
-sign on the paper. write down the date.
-hoho.
-if i were to reject anything on the list, strike it out, sign, deliveryman sign and write down lorry reg plate.
-and then file an incident report, submit to big boss, HQ and file in at the tower.

-check if there's any RTV to be done. (return to vendor)
-bad items or unsellable items to be returned. fill up more forms and stuff.
-RGD, (return goods damaged) clear all damaged goods. send back to vendor as well.
-STS, (store to store transfer) kinda obvious


the RGDs. so stop damaging our toys can?

and we rejected Cylon's delivery like totally.

and erm, people. theres no more Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle merchandise, nor Naruto, nor Alvin and the Chipmunks...tsk tsk.

and yes. Ben 10 is one of the hottest.
and, Transformers is not hot no more. i dont know why we bought more stock from Hasbro.
and Iron Man's toys are ok. the iron man nerf gun is random
and Speed Racer toys are ok if you love the movie and was a fan since young.

oooo, dhana calling regarding SLA performance. well i was busy 'receiving' Hasbro at that time.
hmmm, and skye calling regarding random tapes. i was busy doing Thumb Out.
and getting a random malay chain letter from mufujifi at lunchbreak which i read only halfway..i'll read it later, bah.
and another random caller whom i cant figure out who. and no miss, i aint your husband. this is not his number. its mine. DISH!
and a random number askin me for my roster. huh???

OCK and Big Gulp after work cheered me up. sitting alone at ORC needs a lil getting used to.
and while many of them wanna knock off at 630pm, i find reasons to stay a lil longer till like 730 or 8. or maybe stay till 11pm.
