her "9th goodbye"
theres 2 workshop area.
"climbing spider" and the "butterfly puppet"
right. so there was this shy malay girl making a transit from the butterfly to the spider workshop. i must admit, she'd grow up to be something.
on a sidenote, i realised that kids are not as attractive as they are in person.
so, this english speaking malay girl was rather unresponsive. she spent like 10 minutes at the butterfly workshop instead of the slated 30mins.
so i couldnt start the session early for her. so she had to sit there for 20 mins before i start my spider workhop.
thinking that it would be rude to leave this quiet girl alone, i striked a friendly convo.
it was really hard at the beginning.
she only replied with one only word each time.
but as we progressed, she opened up to me. and we started chatting.
we talked and talked and talked.
her name is deena and she lives in sengkang. she studies in Mercu.
i dont know what kindergarten that is though.
"she looks like your child" ujwal said to me.
"errgh" dm

so workshop completed. and it was time for her to go.
she left. but she kept coming back to say "bye" to me.
like at least 9 times.
"bye! see you again"
the emcee then said to me and ujwal..
"bye lah, what the fuck is wrong with you? what did you do ah adam?"

she and her family finally left the scene. but before they left,
she shouted
"BYE! I LOVE YOU!"
all the staff looked at me
"what did you to her? she was so shy at my butterfly area. never talk and then left early." winnie said
"like after she came to you, she changed" she added.

and there was this other fierce looking young one.
she barely opened her mouth. her name was andrea.
and i tried a gazillion ways to make her relax and talk to me.
in which of course, i managed to.
andrea, 6 years old
after 10 mins. she said to me in hush hush tone
"you're funny" andrea muttered
"what she said? im very far?" i asked ujwal
"she said you're funny lah" jewel replied
she was so soft. fierce and soft. mmm.
