my blueberry nights.
something i'd been wantin to watch in a while now.
a 2 year old flick by Wong Kar Wai, based on a Chinese short film.
see, i wasnt the type who would depart with my dough and catch a flick.
i'd rather let it come to me by chance and then i'd watch it.
but the only flaw in that would be the backlot of movies left unwatched.
and so, now i find myself watchin in the theatre more often than not.
and and, the other day, there was a mention in RP's magazine about 'Uncleboy' being screened at Substation on March 2. thanks jan and shag for makin' that possible.
wow, people watched our docudrama.
and and, there's another flick i'd been meanin to catch.
because i don't think i have time to read the novel itself by Cecilia Ahern, i figured i might as well just dive in to the adaptation.
i'd wanted to buy the VCD but erm, i ended up in Coffee Bean instead with a BlackForest iceblended. now, bear this in mind, im not a pro coffeebean but i was just a lil lazy to walk to the almighty Starbucks.
and and, im so glad that there's MJ in vivocity. i mean, i can actually get recent releases at only $6.95.
speakin' of which, i'd still have yet to watch Black Hawk Down, The Perth Massacre and The Green Mile.
the VCDs are still shrink wrapped. unopened. maybe i should tear it first and that would be the first step of motivation to watch them.
hmmm. the green mile itself would drain me of erm, 180minutes, equivalent to 3hours.
but but, i'm havin' my 6 day weekend currently.
so that wouldn't really be a problem, wouldnt it?
"mom. tomorrow(tuesday) i off" i told my mom while i was removin' my army boots
"off? good la. can rest." she replied while she witnessed the unveiling of my foot.
"wednesday as well"
"wow, 2 days"
"thursday as well"
"hmmm? 3 days?"
"friday as well"
"4 days?"
"and then theres the Saturday and Sunday"
and we were forced to take leave on those days by the way.
and and, hmmm, 5kg down for this month itself.
