misfired words

i still love finding out words that come out of my mouth as wrongly pronounced.
and people still couldnt tell. for they themselves have no idea to the right pronounciation.
usually caused by the same mistake as their superiors. and the vicious cycle follows.
in the army, there's 2 words that bothered me.
the beret (burr-rray)
(in camp, they call it bear-rehh)
and thats not how you wear a beret.
and and, did you know that the beret and the epaulette is an example of a piece of female fashion adapted from male military uniform.
but yah, i should have known.
and the epaullete.(ap-ple-let)
(in camp, they call it ee-paul-lerd)
there.
i finally let go of that.
now im finally feeling much better.
