the problem with nerds

the other time last week, i was sitting beside an acquaintant in the vehicle. he was driving a huge vehicle of course. we reached a junction and we wanted to turn left into a small squeezy one dedicated lane. the light was in our favour. but my acquaintant didnt press the accelerator. he did nothing. he simply stopped there. i questioned him. a lil furious of course. i asked as to why he didn't proceed to negotiating the left turn.

he told me he couldn't. i was confused. if i was in his sit, i'd be able to do so in a jiffy. so as stubborn as a fat kid in bed, he ate up the next lane and tried to do a wide turn. i was pissed again. and furious actually. cos we were blocking traffic. halfway, the turn failed. he needed to reverse. but luckily the light turned green and the blue car left the junction safely.

i was darn furious. so in the future trips, we were in the same scenario again. and this time i drove. unlike him, i didnt eat the other lane. i maintained. i full locked the steering wheel and focused on the side view mirror and made a perfect tight turn without affecting anybody. my acquaintant didn't say anything. the next 10 minutes of the drive, there was an awkward silence.

i'm a bus driver.

hahaa, didn't know drivers nowadays are noobs! even with a CP 5 Ton (during the days when encik was insane enough to use the CPs for refresher), the turn was maneuverable.
