tap for time

As i travelled along the town of toa payoh, i noticed a few things. And one that stood out exceptionally.

as we know, toa payoh is one of thee most senior estate, its not surprising to see many wheelchair accessible buses plying the routes.
but the thing caught my attention was the traffic lights at the junctions.
senior citizens can now tap their purple senior concession ezlink card at the traffic light. Called the 'green man plus', senior citizens can get longer green man timing. This only applicable if they remember to tap their cards prior to crossing. And yes, its free for them too. So just tap and expect a longer crossing time to get across the road.

so why did the chicken cross the road?
i dunno.. Cos it got a senior citizen ezlink card i guess
