ris, she's that girl working at the counter. and i have great use for those cord wrappers posed as slippers. when i get back from thailand, i'll search for ris again.

i can read that poker

i totally dig vintage gaga. her voice is supfantabulous. i never did expect that kind of powerhouse vocal in that frame of hers. and i didn't know she could play the piano. and i didn't even know that she was originally damn pretty. ok bye.

what about now?

anticipatin' and wishin'

Image
there are a few albums that i'm on a look out for this coming year end. chris brown's Graffiti is one of 'em. not forgettin' omarion's Ollusion. but the one that i'm anticipating most would be Westlife's tenth album. Where We Are. 13 tracks, 12 originals and a cover. with the cover being the lead single. originally performed by daughtry of course. so yes. and im totally anticipating for the premiere of New Moon. but i don't think i'll be able to watch it in Singapore though. ahem. thailand.

i wanna joget

mmmmmm. and shawnrick can't get the chorus off his head whenever at work. mechanics and getting it in. gettit?

''driver no pen?''

Image
While combat soldier would find their rifles important, my drivers and me find pens more useful in our day to day combat. Especially those pen with red, blue and black inks in one. and i have never seen 108 pens in my beret on a chair before. gotta thank charan for his birthday giveaway that day. He is my bunkmate of course. Was busy testing all the ink. All 324 colours of the 108s.

301 + 303 = 307

Image
and yes, the formula for this service is actually 301 + 303 = 307. well, Intratown 307 actually. similar to SBS's Townlink 222, 293 etc. introduced in 1996, i remember i was still in primary 2 and still listening to Macarena and Backstreet's Get Down. 301/303/307 was in fact an SBS service then. until it got owned by TIBS in 1998/9. reason being SBS won rights to run the North East Line and Sengkang/Punggol services. so TIBS gave up their SKG/PGL services and received CCK/BB services. alas, which makes TIBS area of control more obvious, the North and North West side of Singapore. ok, i'm done with history. actually i just wanted to upload this. but it would be rude to upload without any text. haha. i stumbled upon this on buses.sgforums.com. its from another bus fan. and obviously he's living in yew tee. i shan't disclose more. so there you go. stare at it.

i polar you

Image
now the new bus stop pole looks cool and all. but its not cool when there is a typo. this one's taken along PIE. there service in question here is service 996 which is actually supposed to be 966. so yeah, upside down cake. cheese.

meet the world's largest ambulance. yes, the world's largest ambulance. and look at it carefully. cos that's the same model that SMRT is bringing over the next few months. the Mercedes Citaro o530. and yes, this bus is an expensive high end bus thats been in use all over the world. (thats why bus fans are excited) now i know Dubai is extremely more advanced than us. even their bus stops has air conditioner. but this is wow. not only its just the largest ambulance, its like a surgery room on the go. it even got an xray machine and even an operating table. i'll let the pictures do the talking. and here's the link if you're wise enough to read up more on it and its variant and uses. the link is here the spacious interior for a 20 man crew compared to our current 2 man crew. i don't mind being operated here though whatever it is, it sure looks expensive posing for the camera ): there you go.

you got me riding like Vroom on a Yamaha

Image
no fair! how come Kok Pern got to know of the Citaro 0530 before me? fresh from Germany and i didnt had a clue it was sleeping there at C&C at Teban. grrr. oh ya, i was busy with work. and boy, look at him. he's grown. the last i saw him, he was still kid in secondary school. and lemme tell you, while in camp, i run on 2 phones. my main phone is forever receiving endless calls and texts. everyone's always looking for me for enquiries. all regarding my vehicles. even on my off days, or even sundays, it never fails to buzz. and i am so pissed with that that my phone actually have my bitemarks. you should check it out. ask me the next time you meet me. cheerios.

the sunset took my baby away from me; ignore this

sometimes my ears get tired of listening to heavy drum beats and bass and 808 and stuff. and so that's why i'm glad there's a medley of genres in my ipod. like today, i travelled around singapore after getting my new biometric passport. (if not for my trip to Thailand next next week and Taiwan next year, i know i wouldn't ever end up at ICA.) it's one of those places where its on my "Places i don't need to go to unless emergency" brief summary, train to lavender, 107 to hougang, 27 to tampines, 168 to bedok, 197 to west coast, 198 to boon lay and 174 to home. doesnt seem like a hefty trip. but trust me, its quite taxing for me. ok, fine. this post seem rather random. but what do you expect from me on like 0144hours on a saturday? and this song was on repeat on my journey... ever had that special someone you never let go. the type where your mind hates her guts but your heart loves her still.. yeah, its that kind of ish. plus, its one of those rare guit...

BlueTec in Asia Singapore Mass Rapid Transit (SMRT) is the first company in Southeast Asia to put Mercedes-Benz urban buses with BlueTec 5 into operation in short-distance public transport. This means that the BlueTec diesel technology so successfully introduced by Daimler in Europe now also has a presence in Asia. And with an order for 66 Mercedes-Benz Citaro BlueTec urban buses that meet the stringent Euro 5 exhaust standard, the SMRT Corporation in Singapore is setting new benchmarks in Southeast Asia. now this super great news for me. while SBSTransit is 'spamming' our road with their cute 1100 Scania K230UB buses, SMRT is doing things different by ordering in small batches. and of course, SMRT orders different models to give bus enthusiasts something to cheer about. and let me tell you, we bus fans had been hoping for a Citaro to hit our roads for years already. now we have it, SMRT's Mercedes Benz Citaro 0530. also knowned as the "Facelifted Citaro" to diffe...

''I think it's time we took a trip to the bed, girl your body's talking and i'm loving what she said, don't you be afraid to, let me elevate you, welcome you to super, duper, jupiter love'' let me say this, i need to drive 13 more clicks to my first bonus. Which can be easily done within an hour. i need a fridge in my bunk now. i need to reduce cup noodle intake. i need to hit the gym asap. i love buses, being a leftie, my natural driving and riding instincts, monopoly and i love lunchbreaks like this. now, to send off encik on his final journey

let me bring you peace

Image
So there we were, there watching you rest. No doubt you look just a lil bit different. Just a little. Encik, everyone had the same comment. Everyone told me you look rather peaceful. Maybe it's because when you were still around, you were rather stress and under a lot of pressure. You were a very powerful man. A man who had his ways and his own set of principles. A strong leader whom i'd always look up and turn to whenever in need, which was like all the time. You regarded our workplace as your home. I'd heard stories from ex personnels that you'd even come back from overseas with your luggage to visit us and make sure the running goes smoothly. If it were another leader, they'd rather head home first upon touchdown rather than back to work. I told my bed buddy that i might just break down and cry upon seeing your face. But when i went up there to see you, i held back. I just couldn't lose my cool. it's only when a specific someone who was discussing with m...
