i'd always wonder, whether Blogger would come up with something new. despite many advertising here and there, i'd never realise the existence of Blogger in Draft til this moment right now.
first of all, local bus news. SBS Transit got a new demonstrator. the Scania K310UD with a Gemilang body. registered as SBS 7888 K, this bus here looks almost like the other 1100 Scania K230UB single decks that you'd probably seen on the road. anyway, can't wait to see this baby on service.
what's so great about having a Scania double decker on the road? well, 7888K would actually be the second Scania DD SBS ever had. a few decades ago, SBS had the first Scania DD demonstrator 7000E. somehow SBS didn't purchase any of'em after the demo period. now if you look at the 2 pics, see what differences 20 years has got on buses. i'll list it down for you in case you're blind. smaller headlights, aircon, led display, longer wheelbase, tinted glasses...
now moving on. i've got this mofoterrible backache. mom credited it to prolonged driving in which i totally agree. its taking a toll on my back. disagree with me? i'd driven 1943km in the month of march.
and once again, you may ask me how far is that?
lemme remind you, Jurong to Changi General Hospital is only 38km. so yes, do the maths.
anyway, the ache is killing me. i almost couldnt get out of bed this morning. in which i'd almost overslept. i had to conduct the bunk inspection at 0715 and i was awake at only 0709. so yes. i thank the '5mins later' idea. i'd actually woke up at 0600 thanks to my alarm.. but i told myself... 5mins later..
so yes.
and so, to end off this week's update...
"Adam, you're doing duty this sunday right?"
"mmmhmmm."
"but you're also going for left hand drive this saturday right?"
"yup. why? cannot?"
"no, just reminding you in case you'd forgotten"
'tis what i call sacrificial volunteerism for greater good... :)

2010 seems awesome for me of course. now where's my ITE cert for Basic Engine Maintainance...?
